Instagram https://www.instagram.com/shaheentsyed/ Facebook https://m.facebook.com/pages/cook-with-shaheen-syed/954850951227256 Twitter https://mobile.twitter.com/cookwithshaheen Youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/shaheenshaikhsyed/featured GULGULE (sweet wheat flour donuts) INGREDIENTS 2 cups wheat flour 3/4 to 1 cup jaggery 1/2 tsp fennel seeds crushed 3 green cardomon seeds crushed 1/4 tsp baking powder or soda water as required oil for frying INGREDIENTS Grind 1 cup jaggery adding little water then strain this jaggery water and use in the recipe u can even boil jaggery with some water cool and then strain and use it Combine wheat flour crushed fennel seeds crushed cardomon seeds baking powder or soda and the jaggery water I have added 1 cup jaggery water and 1 cup water extra so i have used around 2 cups to make batter Make a dropping consistency batter just like pakodas Rest this batter for an hour or more the more u rest it the better the gulgulas will come out Heat oil well drop medium sized batter balls in oil and make gulgulas They will puff up and become round cook them on low to medium flame it should take 8 to 10 minutes to brown evenly Remove and drain on paper towel u can store outside and eat it for 2 to 3 days Take care jazak allah khair
